At Dalhousie/King's you will find a Chaplain and a Chapel …
As Anglican Chaplain to Dalhousie University and sole Chaplain at King's College, I warmly welcome you to the Chapel Website.
As you will see, the Chapel is a diverse, energetic and thoughtful community, with a wide range of activities. It is a place where faith is discovered, challenged, nourished and shared.
Students and community members of all faiths and traditions use the chapel regularly. It is a Sacred Space for quiet prayer and reflection.
The Chapel prays several liturgies every day, mostly led by students. It promotes excellence in sacred music.
The chapel offers opportunities for community outreach and service. During university years students can contribute hugely to help those in the wider Halifax community who live in poverty, on the streets, or who have fallen upon hard times.
The Chapel goes on retreat twice a year, to the interior of the province where students are spiritually refreshed as they enjoy Nova Scotia's backcountry.
A quick tour of this website will give you an indication of the diverse and enthusiastic Chapel community that is eager to welcome you warmly to join their fellowship.
